DoonDzn is a web design and development agency based in Dehradun, working with e-commerce brands, D2C companies, and businesses that need serious digital infrastructure — Shopify stores, custom LMS platforms, WordPress builds, SaaS dashboards, and more. We ship real, complex projects for real clients. We have zero social media presence, and that is the problem we're hiring to solve.
Why this role exists
Our outreach team is doing cold outbound every day. But when a prospect gets curious and looks us up, they find nothing — no posts, no case studies, no proof we're active. We've shipped strong work. We just haven't told anyone about it. This role exists to fix that permanently. Your job is to turn our completed projects into visible social proof, build our brand on LinkedIn and Instagram, and write content that attracts the kind of clients we want to work with.
This is not a generic social media job. You will need to understand what a Shopify storefront is, why a custom LMS is complex, and what a D2C brand actually cares about — and translate that into content that speaks to business decision-makers, not just designers or developers.
What you will own
LinkedIn (primary)
- 3–4 posts per week minimum
- Project case study carousels
- Thought-leadership posts written in the founder's voice
- Engage with relevant industry accounts and decision-makers
- Track which content drives profile visits and DM enquiries
Instagram (secondary)
- 2–3 posts/reels per week
- Before/after project reveals
- Short reels showing UI builds, design process, or outcomes
- Consistent visual identity and brand tone
- Stories for behind-the-scenes and team updates
- Turn every shipped project into a full case study — problem, approach, outcome, result — formatted for both LinkedIn and the website
- Maintain a monthly content calendar approved by the founder at the start of each month
- Repurpose existing portfolio work (mockups, designs, screenshots) into scroll-stopping content without needing to create from scratch
- Write short-form email or WhatsApp follow-up content when the sales team needs credibility assets to share with warm prospects
- Monitor comments, DMs, and engagement — flag any inbound interest to the founder immediately
- Stay up to date with what's performing in the agency / web dev content space on LinkedIn and bring ideas proactively
What you need to have
- 1–3 years of experience managing social media or content for a B2B company, tech startup, IT agency, or SaaS product — not just for lifestyle brands or D2C retail
- Strong written English — you will be writing case studies, captions, and LinkedIn posts that speak to business owners and decision-makers, not general audiences
- Basic understanding of what web development, Shopify, WordPress, or software projects involve — you don't need to code, but you need to understand what we do
- Canva or basic design tools for creating carousel slides and post graphics
- Self-driven — you will not be micromanaged, but you will be held to a posting consistency standard
- Can work independently with only a brief, a few screenshots, and a project summary to go on
What will make you stand out
- You've done LinkedIn content for an agency, IT services company, or developer/founder before and can show results — follower growth, engagement, or inbound leads generated
- You can write ghostwritten content in someone else's voice without it sounding generic
- You can edit short video reels using CapCut, Premiere, or any tool you're comfortable with
- You've managed content for a brand that sells to businesses (B2B), not just end consumers
- You have a LinkedIn profile that shows you understand how the platform actually works
What you will not be doing
- Running paid ads (this is purely organic content)
- SEO, email campaigns, or performance marketing
- Designing full websites or doing development work
- Managing influencer collaborations or brand partnerships
Compensation and structure
We are open to starting this as a freelance arrangement. If you're a freelancer looking for a consistent monthly retainer with a growing agency, this is a great fit. We'll start with a 2-month contract to test the working relationship, and convert to full-time for the right person.
- Freelance retainer: ₹8,000–12,000/month for a defined content volume (approx. 12–16 posts/month across platforms)
- Full-time salary: ₹15,000–22,000/month depending on experience
- Working hours: Mon–Sat, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM IST (flexible on exact hours for freelancers as long as output is delivered)
- Fully remote — work from anywhere in India
