About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QA/QC Food Technologist to join our Quality Team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all food products meet quality, safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards throughout the production process.
Freshers with relevant educational qualifications and candidates with experience in the food industry are encouraged to apply.
Educational Qualification
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Food Biology, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Diploma or Degree in Food Technology will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain food quality standards during production.
- Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Perform microbiological and chemical testing as per company requirements.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, GHP, and food safety regulations.
- Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct hygiene and sanitation audits of production areas.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure quality compliance.
- Assist during customer audits, internal audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Monitor product shelf-life and storage conditions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety and quality.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of food safety and quality management systems.
- Knowledge of FSSAI regulations, HACCP, GMP, and food hygiene practices.
- Strong observation and analytical skills.
- Good communication and reporting abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Email).
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Experience
- Freshers can apply.
- 0–5 years of experience in Food Manufacturing, FMCG, or Food Processing Industry preferred.
