Position: Tool Room Planning Engineer
Location: Changodar, Ahmedabad
Employment Type: Full-Time (On-site)
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering
Preference will be given to candidates from Gujarat.
Experience: Minimum 02 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments to resolve tooling-related issues.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and proper upkeep of tool room machines such as CNC, VMC, milling, lathe, grinding, EDM, and drilling machines.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes and tool room practices.
- Hands-on experience with CNC/VMC, milling, lathe, surface grinding, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of tool steels, heat treatment, and cutting tools.
- Leadership, planning, and team management skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP preferred).
