Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Computer Servicing Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and service computers, laptops, peripherals, and related IT equipment. The candidate should have strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other computer peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
- Install and configure operating systems, drivers, applications, and system updates.
- Replace or upgrade components such as RAM, hard drives/SSDs, power supplies, motherboards, and cooling systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and regular servicing of computer systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot basic LAN/network connectivity issues.
- Install and configure printers, scanners, UPS systems, and other IT equipment.
- Maintain service records, repair reports, and equipment inventory.
- Provide on-site technical support to customers/users.
- Ensure timely resolution of service requests and technical complaints.
- Follow safety procedures while handling electronic and computer equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in computer hardware servicing or technical support.
- Good knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Basic knowledge of networking, Windows, drivers, BIOS, and system configuration.
- Ability to use basic electronic testing and servicing tools.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Willingness to travel for on-site service calls, if required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience servicing desktops, laptops, printers, and UPS systems.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
- Experience with hardware upgrades and component replacement.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests.
Pay: From ₹10,500.00 per month
