About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our showroom dealing in plywood, laminates, wood veneers, and hardware products. This role will be responsible for managing showroom activities, ensuring excellent customer service, supervising inventory, maintaining product displays, and driving sales growth. The Store Manager will also act as the primary point of contact for customers and coordinate effectively with the sales team, warehouse, suppliers, and management to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities -
Showroom Operations
Oversee the overall functioning and maintenance of the showroom.
Ensure a clean, organized, and professional showroom environment.
Monitor daily activities and ensure smooth operations.
Customer Management
Assist customers with product selection, quotations, and order processing.
Address customer queries and resolve complaints promptly.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Sales Management
Drive showroom sales and achieve assigned targets.
Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into sales.
Identify opportunities to increase revenue and customer footfall.
Inventory Management
Monitor stock availability and coordinate replenishment.
Ensure proper stock display and product visibility.
Maintain accurate records of inventory movement.
Team Management
Supervise and guide showroom staff.
Assign responsibilities and monitor performance.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with warehouse, suppliers, and management for seamless operations.
Ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Facilitate smooth communication between all stakeholders.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain sales, inventory, and customer records.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
Ensure accuracy of showroom documentation and records.
Business Development
Develop relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and dealers.
Promote new products and ongoing schemes.
Support marketing and business growth initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in showroom, retail, or store management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities.
Good knowledge of inventory and stock management.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, Google sheet and billing/ERP software.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of plywood, laminates, veneers, hardware, or building materials will be preferred.
