Taymer International designs and manufactures measurement, marking, and inspection systems for the wire and cable industry. Machine vision and AI are central to our inspection products, and the data you label directly trains the systems that detect defects on our customers’ production lines.
Position Summary
Taymer is seeking a detail-oriented Image Labeler to support the development of machine vision and artificial intelligence systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately labeling and annotating image data according to project requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. In addition, the Image Labeler will assist with day-to-day operational activities within the manufacturing facility, supporting production, quality, and engineering teams as needed. Taymer is seeking a detail-oriented Image Annotation Specialist to support the development of our machine vision and AI inspection systems. This is a hybrid role based at our Nadiad facility: approximately 70% of your time is spent accurately labeling and annotating image data according to project guidelines, while the remaining time supports day-to-day production, quality, and engineering activities on the manufacturing floor. The successful candidate will maintain high standards of quality and consistency across all datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform image labeling and annotation tasks, including image classification, object detection, segmentation, and bounding box placement.
- Accurately complete labeling assignments according to project guidelines and quality standards.
- Review, verify, and refine labeling results to ensure consistency and accuracy across datasets.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve labeling questions and implement feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress and complete assignments within established timelines.
- Adapt to new labeling tools, workflows, and project requirements as needed.
- Support continuous improvement of labeling processes and data quality.
- Assist with day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities as assigned.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent comprehension skills and the ability to quickly understand project guidelines and labeling requirements.
- Ability to maintain consistent productivity and quality standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Quick learner with the flexibility to adapt to changing tools, processes, and project needs.
- Previous experience in image labeling, image annotation, data labeling, quality control, or a related field is preferred. Freshers with strong attention to detail are also encouraged to apply.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with labeling or annotation software is an asset.
