Location: Andheri West, Mumbai
We are looking for a skilled and detail oriented Floor Plan Designer with strong expertise in CorelDRAW, specifically for the exhibition and event industry. The role involves creating accurate, visually engaging, and functional exhibition floor layouts for trade shows, expos, and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design precise 2D exhibition floor plans using CorelDRAW based on venue layouts, exhibitor requirements, and event briefs
- Create stall/booth layouts, zoning plans, and visitor circulation paths for exhibitions and trade shows
- Convert hand-drawn sketches, PDFs, or CAD files into polished digital layouts
- Ensure accurate scaling, alignment, and spatial planning for large event spaces
- Add booth numbers, legends, branding elements, and annotations as required
- Collaborate with event planners, project managers, and sales teams to align layouts with commercial and operational goals
- Revise layouts based on exhibitor bookings, last minute changes, and client feedback
- Maintain organized file versions and ensure quick turnaround for dynamic event requirements
- Ensure consistency in design standards and branding across all exhibition layouts
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CorelDRAW (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of space planning and large scale layout design
- High attention to detail with strong accuracy in scaling and alignment
- Ability to work in fast paced, deadline driven environments (common in exhibition)
- Communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Event Design, Drafting, or related field
- Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, or SketchUp
- Prior experience in exhibitions, trade shows, event management, or retail space planning
- Understanding of booth design standards and exhibition layouts
