OT Technician
Location: Thane
Department: Operation Theatre
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare the OT, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for cardiac and other surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and OT nursing staff during procedures.
- Handle and maintain surgical instruments and OT equipment.
- Ensure proper sterilization and infection-control practices.
- Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and transfer.
- Ensure all required instruments and consumables are available before surgery.
- Maintain OT checklists, records, and documentation.
- Coordinate with CSSD, nursing, housekeeping, and other departments.
- Follow hospital protocols for patient safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the OT before and after procedures.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology or equivalent.
- 1–8 years of OT experience preferred.
- Experience in a cardiac hospital or cardiac OT will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Key Skills
- Good knowledge of surgical instruments and OT procedures.
- Knowledge of sterilization and infection-control practices.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a critical-care environment.
- Team-oriented and responsible approach.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
