About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Technical Sales Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for technology, and an interest in sales and business development. This role offers hands-on exposure to client interactions, lead generation, market research, and solution-based selling in the technology domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business leads through online research, networking, and outreach activities.
- Contact prospective clients via email, phone calls, LinkedIn, and other professional platforms.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical teams to propose suitable solutions.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, quotations, and sales documentation.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.
- Maintain and update lead and customer information in CRM tools and internal databases.
- Follow up with prospects and support the sales team throughout the sales cycle.
- Assist in organizing client meetings, product demonstrations, and business presentations.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on lead generation and sales activities.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory).
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence in interacting with clients and conducting business discussions.
- Basic understanding of software, technology, IT services, or engineering solutions.
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
Eligibility
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- Freshers and final-year students are encouraged to apply.
- Prior internship experience in sales, marketing, or business development is an added advantage.
