Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and student-focused Central Career Counsellor to join the corporate office of Chrysalis High. The role will be responsible for providing structured career guidance to students, understanding their academic strengths and aspirations, supporting higher-education planning, and working closely with students, parents, school leadership, and academic teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide one-on-one career counselling and guidance to students across different grades.
· Assess students’ interests, strengths, aptitude, academic performance, and career aspirations.
· Guide students on suitable career pathways, higher education options, courses, colleges, and entrance examinations.
· Support students in developing personalized academic and career plans.
· Conduct career counselling sessions, workshops, seminars, and orientation programs for students and parents.
· Stay updated on emerging career options, higher-education trends, entrance examinations, scholarships, and admission processes.
· Coordinate with school counsellors, academic coordinators, teachers, and leadership teams to ensure holistic student guidance.
- Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, student progress, and career plans.
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide guidance regarding their child’s higher-education and career options.
- Build relationships with universities, colleges, career experts, and educational organizations.
- Organize and coordinate university interaction sessions, career fairs, college visits, and related initiatives.
- Develop career-related resources and guidance material for students and parents.
- Ensure confidentiality and maintain professional standards while handling student information.
Required Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Education, Career Guidance, or a related field.
· 3–6 years of relevant experience in career counselling, student counselling, higher education counselling, or a similar role.
· Experience in a K-12 school or education environment will be preferred.
· Strong knowledge of Indian and international higher-education pathways will be an advantage.
· Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
· Strong organizational and stakeholder-management abilities.
· Comfortable working with students, parents, educators, and senior leadership.
· Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and maintaining counselling records
Pay: ₹11,586.39 - ₹40,000.00 per month
