Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Candidate who is having min 8 to 10 yrs experience with the below skillsets.
Must Have Skills:
1. Proficiency in Power BI Desktop/Service, report optimization, and Power BI Data Flows.
2. Experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Blob Storage for seamless data integration and management.
3. Good knowledge in Python and Pyspark for backend ETL processes and data manipulation, which will enable effective collaboration with the ETL teams.
4. Strong skills in data modeling, integrating data from SQL Server, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, SharePoint, and SSAS.
5. In depth understanding of dimensional modeling, including star schema and snowflake schema.
6. Proficiency in creating complex relationships and working with large datasets. Ability to ensure efficient integration of data from multiple sources.
7. Advanced skills in DAX for calculations and SQL for complex queries, views, and aggregations.
8. Experience In optimizing report and dashboard performance. Identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot data connection issues, and optimize slow loading reports.
9. Ability to provide actionable strategic recommendations based on data analysis and identify the root causes of issues (whether related to data extraction, transformation, model design, or visualization).
10. Should have experience with at least three different Power BI data source connections across various domains.
Good to Have Skills:
1. Good knowledge in ETL processes, data cleansing, and optimizing large datasets to improve performance and data quality.
2. Familiarity with integrating advanced analytics or predictive models into Power BI reports using external tools or services.
