We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Plant Head / Operations Head with deep expertise in modular furniture manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in handling end-to-end project execution, factory operations, costing, and team leadership.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing complete plant operationsfrom enquiry stage to final installationensuring quality, efficiency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities-:
1. End-to-End Project Execution
- Manage complete project lifecycle:
- Enquiry understanding & client interaction
- Site visits, measurements & technical planning
- Design coordination & production drawing release
- BOQ/BOM preparation & costing
- Manufacturing supervision & quality checks
- Dispatch planning & installation supervision
- Final project handover
2. Factory & Production Management
- Lead and manage complete manufacturing operations involving:
- Panel Saw, CNC Router, Edge Banding Machine
- Cold Press, Multi Boring Machine & other woodworking machinery
- Drive:
- Daily production planning & target achievement
- Manpower allocation & shift management
- Machine utilization & productivity improvement
- Rejection control & wastage reduction
- Daily production monitoring & reporting
3. Raw Material Planning & Inventory Control
- Ensure efficient planning and utilization of:
- Plywood, MDF, HDMR, Particle Board
- Aluminium Profiles, Hardware & fittings
- Strong focus on:
- Sheet optimization & cutting efficiency
- Board yield calculation
- Wastage control (%)
- Inventory planning & reorder levels
- Vendor coordination
4. Costing & Profitability Management
- Handle complete costing structure including:
- Material, labour & machine cost
- Production overheads
- Transportation & installation cost
- Drive:
- Cost optimization
- Margin improvement
- Budget adherence
5. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams:
- Designers / AutoCAD team
- CNC & machine operators
- Supervisors & carpenters
- Installation & dispatch teams
- Quality control staff
- Build a strong execution-driven team culture
- Candidates with an existing skilled workforce network will be preferred
6. Quality & Installation Excellence

Candidate Profile-:
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience
- Must have worked in modular furniture / board furniture manufacturing industry
- Proven experience in factory operations handling
- Strong leadership & team management skills
- Hands-on exposure to complete manufacturing lifecycle
- Ability to handle end-to-end project execution
- Immediate joiners will be preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
