Working Hours: Monday to Saturday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
About the Role
The Department of Social Welfare & Justice (Asha Jyoti Centre) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Trauma-Informed Psychologist to work with neurodivergent adult women. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, an understanding of trauma-informed care principles and the ability to provide psychological support in a safe, empowering and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and individual counselling sessions.
- Develop and implement trauma-informed intervention plans.
- Support neurodivergent adult women experiencing psychological, emotional and social challenges.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
- Conduct psychoeducation and mental health awareness sessions.
- Ensure ethical, confidential and culturally sensitive service delivery.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a related field.
- Prior experience working with trauma survivors and vulnerable populations preferred.
- Understanding of neurodiversity-affirming practices and trauma-informed care.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with women-centred programs.
- Knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation and community-based interventions.
- Crisis intervention and case management experience.
