Job Description
Inviting applications for the role of [Assistant Manager] MDM (Vendor/Supplier Master) In this role you will be working as an SME for the process. You will be responsible for all the activities related to MDM domain. Responsibilities: - Follow defined standard operating processes and procedures for all deliverables (processes) - Take ownership of performance against all the Vendor/Supplier data processes and key categories - A well-developed understanding of the supplier landscape project management environment and retail technical landscape - Accountable for the quality and accuracy - Propose opportunities for improvement Vendor/Supplier Master data - Ensure timely and accurate update of all master data records. - Responsible for delivering all the tasks on-time every-time. - Ensure that the schedule is reviewed as circumstances change. - (timeliness) - Client management and to lead Client calls /Escalation management - Support manager in data collation for various metrics and dashboards - Correspond with internal business departments and external business partners with the ability to answer complex queries & provide support and guidance - Research on errors and participate in creating the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) documentation. - Plan & support Transitions and ensure First Time Right - Ensure that all the reports are maintained and cleared on time - A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team and management - Developing and improving business processes through tools metrics to enable decision making Raise incident tickets to the relevant helpdesks when there is an issue - Participate in idea generation and improvement activities - Comprehend incoming and outgoing data flows for SAP master data - Good knowledge of governing policies around Vendor/Suppler Master data as per the area of work - Good analytical skills propose process improvement plans - Identifies areas for data quality and process improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction process control and improvement or process design strategies - Align data management processes in the business value chains and process areas - Training & Onboarding of pertinent teams. - A genuine team player who is respected by their peers self aware and proactively seeks and makes changes based on feedback from others. - Sound stakeholder management with the ability to build positive and productive relationships between the initiative participants Merchandise Data Led Transformation and other cross functional teams. - Willingness and ability to collaborate with the broader business to deliver on the initiative outcomes. - Train new joiners / team members on tools & systems. - Work with manager and transformation teams on recording best practices adoption them at the ground level. - Work on Data Cleansing Activities
