Position Summary
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Showroom Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, designers, and vendors. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, manage front-desk operations, and support the sales and design teams in ensuring a welcoming and efficient showroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome showroom visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries promptly.
- Schedule appointments for consultations, site visits, and design meetings.
- Maintain visitor records and customer databases accurately.
- Assist customers with basic product information and direct them to the appropriate sales consultant or designer.
- Coordinate showroom appointments and manage meeting room schedules.
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks, quotations, documentation, and follow-up communications.
- Maintain the showroom's reception area, displays, and presentation standards.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services.
- Process customer payments and issue receipts when required.
- Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed.
- Assist with showroom events, promotions, and customer engagement activities.
- Ensure a positive customer experience from arrival through departure.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative or customer service training is preferred.
- Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk executive, customer service representative, or showroom coordinator.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail or showroom environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience in interior design, home décor, furniture, windows, blinds, or related industries is an advantage.
