We are looking for a Generalist to join our Manipur Project Team, supporting electoral strategy, political research, and on-ground execution across the state. This is a remote role that requires regular engagement with political developments and stakeholders across Manipur.
This role is ideal for individuals who are politically aware, intellectually curious, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited by the challenge of solving complex political problems on the ground.Your Core Responsibilities
- Work at the heart of Manipur's political landscape, helping shape strategies that influence real-world outcomes.
- Analyze political trends, voter behavior, and public sentiment to generate actionable insights.
- Conduct field and desk research to understand key social, political, and governance issues across the state.
- Engage with diverse stakeholders and communities, building a nuanced understanding of local narra.
- Support the development of constituency-level and state-wide political strategies through data-driven thinking.
- Take ownership of projects from ideation to execution, working in a fast-paced and high-impact environment.
- Navigate Manipur's diverse cultural and ethnic landscape, translating local realities into meaningful political interventions.
- Adapt quickly to evolving political developments, campaign priorities, and project requirements.
- Thrive in a "many-hats" environment by taking full ownership of the work.
Skills & Qualifications
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a premier institution
- 1 - 5 years of work experience
- Comfortable with MS Excel, MS Office Suite, and using AI and digital tools to work smarter
Language Requirement (Mandatory):
Proficiency in at least one of Manipur's major languages:
- Meiteilon (Manipuri)
- Any major Kuki language
- Any major Naga language
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
