QC Engineer – Stori Design

About the Role
Stori Design is looking for a QC Engineer to ensure the quality and precision of our bespoke luxury furniture and interior products. The role involves inspecting materials, production processes, and finished products while working closely with the Design and Production teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
* Verify dimensions, tolerances, materials, workmanship, and product quality using appropriate measuring instruments.
* Inspect furniture for fit, alignment, finish, and overall workmanship.
* Read and verify engineering/shop drawings and approved samples.
* Identify defects, raise NCRs, and coordinate corrective actions with Production and Design teams.
* Maintain inspection reports, checklists, and quality records.
* Help reduce rejection, rework, and recurring quality issues.
Requirements
* Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Quality, or a related engineering field.
* 5 years of QC experience, preferably in furniture, interiors, woodworking, fabrication, or manufacturing.
* Good knowledge of technical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and measuring instruments.
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
