About the Role
BrightCHAMPS is looking for a fast, creative, and detail-oriented Video Editor Associate to join our creative team.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a high-performance environment, handling multiple projects, producing high-quality video creatives at speed, and experimenting with content formats that drive engagement and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume video editing for advertising and performance marketing campaigns.
- Create multiple versions and variations of video creatives for testing and optimization.
- Edit and optimize videos for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Meta Ads, and other social media platforms.
- Develop strong hooks, storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound design, and compelling CTAs.
- Ensure fast turnaround times while maintaining high creative and technical quality.
- Analyze creative performance and iterate on videos based on performance data and insights.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Support the production of both video and static creatives.
- Manage video projects through the end-to-end production workflow, from editing to final delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest content, editing, animation, AR/VR, and immersive media trends.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional video editing experience.
- Freelance or agency experience is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Audition
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Experience with Final Cut Pro is a bonus.
- Strong short-form storytelling and editing skills.
- Good understanding of cuts, transitions, pacing, sound and visual synchronization, and social-media-first content.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-output environment.
- Comfortable with quick turnarounds, creative experimentation, and multiple iterations.
- Experience managing end-to-end video production workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and a good sense of visual storytelling.
- Awareness of emerging content trends, including animation, AR/VR, and immersive formats.
