Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Accounts Manager to join our finance team. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, maintain tax and statutory compliance, manage financial reporting, and assist the Accounts Manager in budgeting and audit processes.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of Indian GAAP/GST laws, and proven expertise in managing end-to-end accounting workflows.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Ledger Maintenance
- Oversee day-to-day general ledger operations, voucher verification, and journal entries.
- Perform month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of bank statements, inter-company transactions, vendor accounts, and customer balances.
2. Tax & Statutory Compliance
- Manage timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and reconciliation with GSTR-2B.
- Oversee TDS/TCS calculations, deductions, quarterly filings, and issuance of Form 16/16A.
- Ensure compliance with corporate tax regulations and assist with advance tax computations.
3. Audit & Reporting
- Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly MIS reports, cash flow statements, and balance sheet evaluations.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory, tax, and GST audits.
- Ensure financial records comply with standard accounting principles and company policies.
4. Banking & Treasury Operations
- Monitor daily cash flows, working capital requirements, and banking transactions.
- Handle vendor payments, employee expense reimbursements, and payroll accounting.
- Prepare documentation for forex/international transactions (if applicable).
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance (B.Com/M.Com). CA Inter / MBA (Finance) is preferred.
- Experience: 4–8 years of hands-on experience in core accounting and finance functions.
- Technical Skills:
- High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
