Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer Trainee to join our team in Coimbatore. This role is ideal for fresh diploma graduates who are eager to build a career in mechanical design. The selected candidate will undergo a structured 3-month training program (unpaid), after which successful candidates will be offered a full-time position on the company payroll based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating 2D and 3D mechanical designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA
- Support senior engineers in product design and development activities
- Assist in daily production and manufacturing operations to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.
- Prepare technical drawings, models, and documentation
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback
- Learn and apply engineering standards and best practices
- Assist in prototyping, testing, and validation processes
- Maintain proper documentation of design changes and project updates
Skills
- Basic knowledge of Mechanical Engineering concepts
- Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD / SolidWorks / CATIA)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes is an added advantage
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E / B.Tech)
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineer
