Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement & Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers/vendors (inputs, materials, logistics partners)
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply and quality
2. Inventory & Demand Planning
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability
- Coordinate demand forecasting based on sales data and seasonal trends
- Implement inventory control practices to minimize wastage and stockouts
3. Logistics & Distribution
- Plan and coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities
- Optimize logistics routes and reduce turnaround time
- Track shipments and resolve delivery-related issues
4. Operations Coordination
- Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and field teams
- Ensure timely order fulfillment and service delivery
- Maintain documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements
5. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics (cost, delivery timelines, efficiency)
- Prepare regular MIS reports and dashboards
- Identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Agriculture, or related field
- 1–4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations (agri sector preferred)
- Strong understanding of procurement and inventory management principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
