Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Software Architect (MERN Stack) to lead the architecture, design, and development of modern, scalable, and secure web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, along with expertise in cloud-native architecture, microservices, DevOps, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
You will collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, UI/UX designers, and DevOps engineers to define technical strategy, establish architectural standards, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using the MERN stack.
- Define application architecture, technology standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
- Lead the design and implementation of microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Design scalable database architectures using MongoDB and other NoSQL/SQL databases where appropriate.
- Review technical designs, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure code quality.
- Mentor software engineers and technical leads on architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive performance optimization, scalability, security, and reliability across applications.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the technology stack.
- Participate in project estimation, technical planning, and risk assessment.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection best practices.
Required SkillsFrontend
- Strong expertise in React.js
- Advanced JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or Material UI
- State management using Redux Toolkit, Context API, or Zustand

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years in an Architecture or Technical Leadership role.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale web applications using the MERN stack.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
