Position’s overall objective:
1. Should be able to understand the technical requirement for high voltage transformer
rectifier from customer.
2. Transformer designing- Such as Oil cooled in the range of 100KVA – 500 KVA size,
three phase & single phase for High voltage rectifier applications.
3. Designing of transformers with Copper / Aluminium conductors, various Core
materials such as CRGO / CRNO / special cores for above mentioned power range.
4. Calculation of Copper / core weight, Transformer losses, efficiency, Tap voltages,
Impedance, Regulation, SC capacity, Inrush current, Flux density, Harmonics etc.
5. Knowledge of transformer routine testing & type testing procedure and Practical
experience in testing of high voltage transformer for the range mentioned above.
6. Documentation – Design documentation in proper formats, tests as per IEC 60076 standard.
7. Project Engineering of Power electronics base product such as microprocessor-
based control panel, switchgear selection, preparation of bill of material.
8. Working knowledge of CAD software’s such as AutoCAD / Solid works.
9. Preparation of electrical drawing in E-plan.
10. Making Bill of material and calculate transformer costing, Cost reduction.
11. Release of Production documents such as BOM, design, Test reports, Tech manuals etc.
12. Preparing and reviewing of Routine and type test.
13. Project & product documentation.
14. Visit vendors to ensure timely delivery and product quality for outsourced transformers.
15. Good English writing / speaking skill.
16.Can drive & take responsibility for his juniors.
Primary responsibility:
1. Manufacturing engineering of transformer and control panel for High voltage Transformer.
2. Review of CAD outputs.
3. ISO documentation.
4. Cost reduction activities
5. Development projects in line with R & D dept.

Education BE / ME, Electrical / Electronics (From reputed technical university)
Experience 6-7 years
Personality traits Should be team player, should be able to handle pressure situations,
self-driven, ability to deal with inter company customers & OEM’s,
Language English, Hindi, Marathi
Other Experience on Electrostatic precipitator functioning will add extra benefit.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
