Accounts Executive
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial record maintenance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST filing, TDS filing, bookkeeping, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow records.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, purchase entries, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, etc.).
- Conduct GST reconciliations and maintain compliance with GST regulations.
- Deduct TDS as per applicable provisions and file quarterly TDS returns.
- Generate and issue TDS certificates and maintain related documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities regarding tax and compliance matters.
- Assist in payroll accounting and statutory compliance activities.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports as required.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Hands-on experience in GST filing and TDS filing is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Familiarity with GST Portal, Income Tax Portal, and statutory compliance procedures.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in payroll processing and statutory compliances.
- Knowledge of PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and Labour Law compliances.
- Experience handling audits and financial reporting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Brigade Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
