Position: Senior Computer Teacher - O Level certified
The role involves delivering engaging theoretical and practical sessions, facilitating hands-on learning, and helping students develop relevant technical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured theory and practical training sessions in Python and IoT.
- Develop engaging, age-appropriate and activity-based learning modules.
- Conduct hands-on exercises, projects and demonstrations to strengthen students’ practical understanding.
- Simplify technical concepts and communicate them effectively to students with varying levels of proficiency.
- Monitor student participation, progress and learning outcomes.
- Provide constructive feedback and additional support wherever required.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, logical thinking and problem-solving based activities.
- Stay updated with developments in Python, IoT, Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Coordinate with the programme/education team to support the effective implementation of training programmes.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- O Level Certification or equivalent qualification.
- 1–2 years of relevant teaching, training or facilitation experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Python Programming.
- Practical understanding of Internet of Things (IoT).
- Familiarity with the latest curriculum/frameworks covering Python and IoT.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be an added advantage.
- Strong conceptual as well as practical understanding of O level concepts.
- Excellent English communication and teaching skills.
- Proficiency in explaining technical concepts in a simple and accessible manner.
