Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Head to lead the Finance & Accounts function. The ideal candidate will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, audits, and statutory compliance while ensuring strong financial controls. Experience in the alcohol, brewery, distillery, or FMCG manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall Finance & Accounts department.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate internal, statutory, tax, and cost audits.
- Monitor receivables, payables, inventory accounting, and working capital.
- Develop and implement financial controls, accounting policies, and SOPs.
- Oversee bank reconciliations, fund management, and banking relationships.
- Ensure compliance with applicable excise, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements relevant to the alcohol industry.
- Support management with financial planning and strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, and operations teams for financial planning and cost control.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts team while ensuring high performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.
- Ensure ERP accuracy and timely financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
- CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or M.Com.
- 8–15 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in the alcohol, distillery, brewery, beverage, FMCG, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Sound understanding of budgeting, costing, inventory accounting, and financial controls.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
