Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Production Team: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production workers to achieve production targets efficiently and effectively.
- Production Planning: Collaborate with the production planning team to ensure the timely and accurate execution of production schedules.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and enforce quality control standards to ensure that manufactured rubber products meet or exceed industry and company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a secure working environment, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Equipment Oversight: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure that production machinery and equipment are well-maintained and operational.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement performance metrics to track and analyze production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to maintain efficient production flow.
- Internet Proficiency: Utilize basic internet skills for communication, research, and staying updated on industry trends.
- Planning Proficiency: Demonstrate strong planning skills to optimize production processes and meet organizational goals.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the logistics of materials sold to clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery, and managing communication with the logistics team.
- Excel Proficiency: Possess advanced proficiency in Excel or other spreadsheet software for data analysis, reporting, and effective communication of production-related information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Rubber Technology/ Polymer technology or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in rubber or related industries.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes and quality control standards.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
