Job Description: Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of network technologies and experience monitoring and supporting enterprise network infrastructure. The role involves ensuring network availability, identifying and resolving issues, and maintaining smooth network operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of network services.
Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate network incidents in a timely manner.
Perform live network monitoring using NOC monitoring tools.
Monitor and manage network devices, links, and services.
Coordinate with internal teams and service providers to resolve network-related issues.
Maintain incident logs, prepare reports, and document troubleshooting activities.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and escalation processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Good knowledge of Network Architecture.
Strong understanding of IP Networking, Routing, and Switching concepts.
Experience in live network monitoring and familiarity with NOC operations.
Knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a 24x7 shift environment, if required.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior working experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) is highly preferred.
Relevant networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Experience with enterprise networking environments is desirable.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
