Role Overview
The Community Manager will own end-to-end engagement for a dedicated language community on
Tamasha.live, acting as the single point of contact (POC) for both users and hosts within that community.
The role is responsible for building a safe, active, and responsive community by resolving doubts and
queries from users and hosts alike, fostering engagement, and surfacing sentiment and issues to internal
stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the dedicated POC for both users and hosts in the assigned language community.
- Respond to doubts, queries, and complaints from users and hosts in a timely, accurate, and
empathetic manner.
- Monitor community conversations to identify recurring issues, sentiment shifts, and emerging trends
among both users and hosts.
- Escalate unresolved or high-priority issues (user- or host-side) to the appropriate internal teams
(Support, Product, Tech) and follow up to closure.
- Build rapport and trust with users and hosts to drive engagement, retention, and a positive
experience on both sides.
- Support hosts with onboarding queries, platform features, earnings/payout doubts, and content or
conduct guidelines.
- Maintain query/response logs for both user and host queries, and share periodic reports on volumes,
turnaround time, and common issue themes.
- Ensure all communication is in line with brand tone, community guidelines, and language/cultural
nuances.
- Support the rollout of new features, announcements, and campaigns within the community, ensuring
both users and hosts are well-informed.
- Flag policy violations, spam, or inappropriate behavior from users or hosts and take/support
moderation actions as per guidelines.
- Collaborate with other language-community managers and cross-functional teams to share learnings
and best practices.
Requirements
- Native or fluent proficiency in the assigned language, both written and verbal, along with working
proficiency in English/Hindi.
- Prior experience in community management, customer support, or social media engagement
preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach to problem-
solving.
- Ability to multitask and manage high query volumes while maintaining response quality.
- Comfortable working with basic tools/dashboards for tracking queries and reporting.
- Team player with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
Reporting & Working Hours
Reports to: Community Management Lead / CX Operations
Working hours and shift structure to be aligned based on community activity patterns, including
weekend/rotational availability as needed.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
