The Packing Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily packing activities, ensuring proper packaging quality, manpower handling, dispatch readiness, and maintaining hygiene and food safety standards in frozen food packing operations.
Packing Operations
- Supervise daily packing activities as per production and dispatch plan
- Ensure proper packaging, labelling, sealing, and batch coding
- Monitor packing line efficiency and output
- Ensure packing targets are achieved within timeline
Quality & Food Safety
- Ensure packaging quality standards are maintained
- Verify correct product packing and labelling before dispatch
- Maintain GMP, hygiene, and HACCP standards in packing area
- Prevent packing damages and product contamination
Manpower Management
- Allocate manpower on packing lines as per requirement
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and shift management
- Guide packing workers and operators during operations
Material & Inventory Control
- Ensure availability of packing materials on time
- Monitor packing material consumption and reduce wastage
- Coordinate with stores and production department for smooth workflow
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain packing reports, batch records, and dispatch details
- Record packing quantity, rejection, and wastage data
- Report operational issues to reporting manager
Safety Compliance
- Ensure PPE usage and safety compliance in packing section
- Maintain clean and safe packing area
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
