Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Supplier Development & Technical Readiness
Lead supplier technical assessments for electrical/electronic parts during sourcing and nomination phases.
Support technical sign-off of supplier manufacturing processes, test capabilities, and product validation per design and architecture requirements.
Ensure supplier design and development processes align with ASPICE and ISO 26262 (where applicable).
Validate supplier software and hardware integration into overall system architecture in collaboration with system and design engineers.
Participate in design reviews, D-FMEA, and S-FMEA reviews with suppliers.
Project & Launch Support
Drive supplier readiness for new program launches, including PPAP, APQP milestones, and Run@Rate.
Conduct process audits (VDA 6.3, IATF 16949), capability studies, and ensure compliance with automotive-specific standards (IPC, AEC-Q100/Q200, etc.).
Review and approve supplier control plans, test reports, traceability systems, and component validation.
Collaborate with system architects and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of supplier components into vehicle platforms.
Quality & Problem Resolution
Be the first technical escalation point for plant quality concerns related to E&E components.
Lead root cause analysis and 8D closure for supplier-related quality incidents in production and warranty.
Monitor supplier performance via KPIs (PPM, first-time pass, OEE, audit scores) and implement improvement plans as needed.
Ensure effective containment, corrective action, and recurrence prevention at the supplier end.
Support requalification and revalidation activities due to engineering changes, process changes, or quality issues.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s in electrical & Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering in Reputed College
General Requirements
Experience with BEV/HEV E&E components like eAxle, BMS and CSC on-board chargers, etc.
Exposure to Hardware / software development lifecycles, traceability tools, and embedded validation.
SMT, Motor Process /Assembly expertise
Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing
ASPICE Provisional Assessor certification or hands-on ASPICE audit/support experience.
IPC Expertise and certification.
DOE / DFM/DFA Exposure and deployment
Knowledge in Validation tests.
