Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Site Engineer – Civil Works to supervise and manage on-site construction activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all civil works are executed as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The role involves coordination with contractors, workers, vendors, and project managers to ensure smooth site execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at site
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications
- Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of work
- Coordinate with contractors, workers, and site staff
- Check quality of materials and workmanship on-site
- Prepare daily work reports and site progress updates
- Ensure safety standards and site discipline are maintained
- Measure site work and verify quantities for billing purposes
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and project managers
- Resolve on-site technical issues and ensure smooth execution
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and site execution
- Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings
- Knowledge of site measurement and basic estimation
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and site reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- 1–5 years of experience in civil construction or site execution
