Application Support Engineer - Test Environment (Offshore)
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Application Support Engineers to join our team as first-line support for our Test Environment. This role requires strong development skills combined with production support expertise to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve environmental issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line support for test environment infrastructure and applications

Review and analyze application code to identify root causes of environmental issues

Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents in test environments

Collaborate with development teams to implement fixes and solutions

Monitor system performance and ensure environment stability

Document issues, resolutions, and best practices

Participate in environment deployments and configuration management

Support integration testing and environment preparation activities
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills:

Strong programming experience in C/C++ and XML
-
Proficiency in SQL and relational database management
-
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
Infrastructure & Tools:

Experience with Azure cloud platform

Knowledge of Azure DevOps (preferred)

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Go Lang programming

Hands-on experience with TANGO, BASE24 EPS/Classic, or Connex platforms

Knowledge of VISA/Mastercard card network payment systems

Experience in financial services or payment processing industry

Understanding of card payment transaction flows and protocols
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

3-5 years of experience in application support or software development

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities

On-call support availability when required
