The position:
As an AI Software Engineer Intern, you will work closely with experienced AI and software engineers to design, develop, and support AI-powered applications. You will gain hands-on exposure to Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, Machine Learning, and AWS cloud services while contributing to real-world AI platforms and solutions.
This internship offers a strong learning environment with mentorship, practical experience in modern AI engineering practices, and the potential to convert into a full-time role based on performance.

High-performing interns will be considered for conversion into a full-time AI Software Engineer position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing AI applications using RAG, conversational AI, AI Agents, and backend APIs on AWS

Support the building, testing, and evaluation of machine learning models (e.g., regression, classification, time series) and contribute to MLOps workflows

Participate in code reviews, debugging, model evaluation, CI/CD processes, and performance improvement activities

Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and help document AI solutions, experiments, and technical designs
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python and at least one additional programming language (Java, C++, or JavaScript).

Understanding of software engineering, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Generative AI concepts, including LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, AI Agents, and vector databases.

Foundational Understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals, including Linear Regression, Classification, Time Series Analysis, model evaluation, and feature engineering.

Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Bedrock, SageMaker, API Gateway, DynamoDB/RDS) and REST APIs.

Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, SQL, and strong analytical/problem-solving skills

M.Tech or MS in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or Data Science.
