Dear Candidate,
Birla Open Minds Pre School, Manikonda & Kokapet is looking for a warm, energetic, and creative Pre-Primary Teacher for Nursery, LKG & UKG to create a nurturing, playful, and inquiry-based learning environment for children aged 2.5 to 5 years.
Key Responsibilities
1. Classroom & Curriculum
- Plan and implement thematic, playbased, and activitybased lessons
- Follow BOMIS curriculum with focus on phonics, storytelling, and experiential learning
- Prepare teaching aids, charts, and classroom displays
2. Child Development
- Monitor and support cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor skills
- Maintain daily records of student progress and behavior
- Identify learning needs and provide individual attention
3. Student Care & Safety
- Ensure safety, hygiene, and discipline in the classroom
- Handle students with patience, empathy, and positive reinforcement
- Firstaid and basic child care as needed
4. Parent Communication
- Regular updates to parents on child progress through meetings, diaries, apps
- Conduct PTMs and maintain parent rapport
5. School Activities
- Participate in events, celebrations, annual day, competitions
- Coordinate with coteachers and support staff
- Attend teacher training and workshops
Must-Have Requirements
- Qualification: Any Graduate. If NTT / D.Ed / B.Ed with specialization in Early Childhood (will add as an advantage)
- Experience: 1-4 Years in Pre-Primary / Montessori / IB PYP school preferred
