Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Lead Data Steward for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client is a company that focuses on staffing for IT and technical roles for businesses around the globe.
The Data Steward for this assignment will deliver high-quality data required for the successful implementation of program objectives and organizational strategies. This role is crucial to a project focused on improving data quality, implementing robust data solutions, and ensuring the reliability and integrity of our data assets. A primary focus of this role is to develop a deep understanding of the source data landscape. The candidate will need to analyze various data sources, satellite systems, and the process management for how ERP and other systems are used at the source level. This understanding will be critical to designing the target-state data solutions for the country. The perfect candidate will leverage their expertise in data analysis, governance, and stakeholder collaboration to make a significant impact over the course of the assignment by identifying data quality needs and implementing solutions that prevent quality issues, minimize manual intervention, and support automation efforts.
Location: Cologne, Germany, OR nearby Germany, with occasional onsite travel for workshops in their local office - the company will pay for their travel.
Engagement: Long-term contract (initial 6 months with extensions; expected continuity over multiple years).
Tech Environment: GCP/BigQuery preferred, with some exposure to SAP or product supply domains being helpful.
