About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our food outlets/stores across Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth store operations, maintaining service and food quality standards, managing teams, controlling costs, and driving operational efficiency.
The candidate must have the ability and willingness to travel across Mumbai regularly, visit our stores/outlets, and oversee daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of multiple food stores/outlets across Mumbai.
- Regularly travel across Mumbai to visit stores and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Monitor store performance, sales, customer service, food quality, hygiene, and operational standards.
- Conduct regular store visits and identify operational gaps, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure all stores follow company SOPs, operational guidelines, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Manage, train, motivate, and monitor store managers and operational staff.
- Monitor daily sales, expenses, wastage, inventory, stock levels, and overall store profitability.
- Coordinate with Kitchen, Procurement, HR, Finance, and other departments for smooth operations.
- Ensure adequate manpower availability and effective staff scheduling at all stores.
- Monitor food preparation, portion control, quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Control food wastage, pilferage, operational losses, and unnecessary expenses.
- Ensure proper inventory management, stock rotation, and timely replenishment.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Track store-wise KPIs and prepare regular operational performance reports.
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Support the opening and operational setup of new stores whenever required.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, customer experience, sales, and profitability.
- Take corrective actions and follow up with store teams to ensure implementation.
- Report operational performance, challenges, and recommendations to senior management.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Food & Beverage / QSR / Restaurant / FMCG operations.
- Experience managing multiple stores/outlets will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of store operations, food safety, hygiene, inventory, and cost control.
- Excellent team management and leadership skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and operational reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food industry environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel across Mumbai regularly for store visits and operational supervision.
- Should be comfortable working flexible hours depending on business requirements.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
