Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the applications meet the desired requirements. The engineer acts as the main liaison for the project, overseeing progress, addressing challenges, and facilitating smooth communication across teams to deliver effective solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of project deliverables while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to optimize workflows and enhance productivity.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Glue.
- Experience with cloud-based data integration and ETL processes.
- Strong understanding of data pipeline architecture and orchestration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows for performance and reliability.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools related to data engineering.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in AWS Glue.
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
