Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Server Administrator to manage and support enterprise server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across systems and applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Linux/ Windows administration along with exposure to Cloud environments, Docker containerization, and a good understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.
- Manage and monitor physical, virtual, and cloud-based server environments.
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and user permissions.
- Perform server patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Configure and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Monitor infrastructure health, server logs, and security vulnerabilities.
- Support AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and monitoring services.
- Work with Docker containers for application deployment and environment management.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams for CI/CD and automation-related activities.
- Assist in deployment automation, scripting, and infrastructure optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards and organizational policies.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and system configurations.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support and resolve infrastructure-related incidents.

- DevOps Understanding (CI/CD concepts, automation, infrastructure as code awareness)

- PowerShell / Bash Scripting
- Networking Fundamentals (TCP/IP, Firewall, Routing basics)
- Server Monitoring & Security Management
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of tools like Jenkins, Git, Ansible, or Kubernetes.
- Exposure to cloud security and monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing systems.
- Experience in enterprise infrastructure environments.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, RHCE, MCSE, VCP, or Docker certifications are an added advantage.
