Accounts Associate – Import & Export

DreamFirm is a tech-enabled professional services firm providing accounting, compliance, and CFO services to growing businesses. We are looking for an Accounts Associate to manage the accounting operations of an enterprise client in the Import & Export industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations.
- Record and reconcile domestic and international purchase & sales transactions.
- Maintain books of accounts using Zoho Books.
- Handle vendor payments, customer receipts, and bank reconciliations.
- Process import & export transactions, including purchase accounting and documentation.
- Account for freight, customs duty, clearing & forwarding charges, and other import-related expenses.
- Prepare GST & TDS workings and ensure statutory compliance.
- Assist with month-end closing, audits, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with vendors, banks, logistics partners, and internal teams.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of full-time Accounts experience (Internship/Trainee experience will not be considered).
- Prior Import & Export accounting experience is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books, Tally, or similar accounting software.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Candidates requiring frequent examination leave for professional courses (CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, etc.) are not suitable for this role.

Compensation
₹2.4 – ₹3.6 LPA (Based on experience)
