Key Responsibilities:Academic Responsibilities
- Teach core subjects as assigned, following the school curriculum and lesson plans
- Prepare daily lesson plans and teaching aids suitable for the age group
- Conduct regular assessments, worksheets, and remedial classes when required
- Maintain students’ notebooks, homework, and classwork records
Student Care & Development
- Take overall responsibility for students’ well-being and discipline
- Identify learning difficulties or behavioral concerns and report to authorities
- Encourage good habits, values, manners, and moral education
- Promote confidence, participation, and positive attitude in students
Classroom Management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom
- Ensure discipline during class, activities, and transitions
- Supervise students during assemblies, breaks, and school activities
Administrative Duties
- Maintain attendance, assessment records, and student profiles
- Participate in school events, celebrations, and staff meetings
- Follow school policies, rules, and professional ethics
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduation with B.Ed / D.El.Ed preferred
- Experience in teaching primary classes is an advantage
- Good communication skills in English and local language
- Patience, care, and a child-friendly approach
- Ability to work as a team and adapt to school culture
