Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel facilities, including electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, carpentry, and general repair work. The role ensures that guest rooms and public areas are safe, clean, and fully functional.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance and repair work in guest rooms and hotel facilities.
- Inspect and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Repair furniture, doors, windows, locks, and fixtures.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments.
- Conduct preventive maintenance according to the hotel's schedule.
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Maintain maintenance logs and service records.
- Follow safety procedures and hotel policies.
- Coordinate with external contractors when major repairs are required.
- Report any major maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Chief Engineer.
