Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Java Developers with strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Spark. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable applications, working with multithreading and concurrency, and solving complex problems using strong Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) fundamentals.
This role offers an opportunity to work on large-scale enterprise applications, distributed systems, and data processing platforms in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java and Spring Boot applications.
- Build high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Apply multithreading and concurrency concepts to optimize application performance.
- Develop efficient solutions using strong data structures and algorithms.
- Work with Apache Spark for distributed data processing and analytics.
- Write clean, maintainable, and production-quality code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong Core Java development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Multithreading and Concurrency.
- Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Expertise in Spring Boot.
- Experience or strong knowledge of Apache Spark.
- Excellent coding, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Experience developing scalable and reliable enterprise applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, or distributed systems.
- Knowledge of SQL and data processing concepts.
- Exposure to performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Education
- BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc or equivalent from a recognized university.
Important Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant software development experience.
- Immediate Joiners, candidates serving notice period, or those with up to 30–35 days notice period preferred.
- Strong coding, problem-solving, DSA, and programming fundamentals are mandatory.
- Must be comfortable with a 5-week onboarding process.
- Candidates must be willing to attend an in-person Karat Coding Assessment at the respective Deloitte office location.
- Candidates with known Background Verification (BGV) discrepancies will not be considered.

Employment & Onboarding Details
