Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and journal entries.
- Ensure proper documentation and authorization of accounting transactions.
- Assist in maintaining ledgers and supporting schedules.
- Bank & Account Reconciliation
- Prepare regular bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
- Reconcile customer, vendor, and other relevant ledger accounts.
- Follow up on outstanding entries and ensure timely corrections.
- Sales & Purchase Accounting
- Verify sales and purchase invoices against supporting documents.
- Record invoices and ensure correct accounting treatment.
- Assist in monitoring outstanding receivables and payables.
- Coordinate with stores and other departments for accounting-related queries.
- Cash & Expense Management
- Maintain records of petty cash and daily expenses.
- Verify expense bills, supporting documents, and approvals.
- Assist in monitoring employee reimbursements and expense claims.
- GST & Statutory Support
- Assist in collecting and maintaining GST-related invoices and documents.
- Support the preparation of GST and other statutory records.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents for audit and compliance purposes.
- MIS & Reporting
- Prepare routine accounting statements and MIS reports as required.
- Provide data and supporting schedules for monthly closing.
- Assist senior accountants in preparing management reports.
- Audit & Documentation
- Maintain proper filing of vouchers, invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Provide required records and supporting documents during internal and external audits.
- Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and readily accessible.
- Coordination & Internal Controls
- Coordinate with HR, Operations, Stores, Procurement, and other departments for finance-related matters.
- Follow company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Report accounting discrepancies or unusual transactions to the reporting manager.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of Tally / ERP / accounting software.
- Good understanding of MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- Basic knowledge of GST and statutory accounting requirements.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Qualification & Experience
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
