Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels for raw materials (steel sheets, plates, structural sections), drilling tools (bits, taps, reamers), and welding/fabrication consumables.
- JDE Operations: Process goods receipts (GRN), material issues, stock transfers, and physical inventory counts inside the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP system.
- Shop Floor Coordination: Issue materials to the drilling, heavy fabrication, and sheet metal assembly lines based on production work orders and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Material Receipts & Inspection: Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, delivery challans, and quality standards.
- Audits & 5S: Maintain store organization, safe stacking of heavy sheets/plates, and conduct routine cycle counts for accurate stock reconciliation.
Essential Skills & Requirements
- ERP Knowledge: Hands-on experience in JD Edwards (JDE) Inventory Management and Procurement modules.
- Technical Familiarity: Ability to identify various grades of sheet metals, structural steels, and heavy machining/drilling tools.
- Experience: 3 to 8 years of storekeeping or inventory control experience in a manufacturing, heavy fabrication, or press/sheet metal shop environment.
- Documentation: Compliance with ISO standards, material traceability, and scrap accounting.
