QA Tester
Job Summary
WebMilez Infotech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a QA Tester to join our technology team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of manual software testing, good analytical skills, and the ability to identify and report bugs effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and software functionality.
- Create and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UI testing.
- Identify, document, and track software bugs.
- Re-test defects after fixes and ensure proper closure.
- Perform end-to-end testing of new features and existing functionality.
- Conduct cross-browser and responsive testing.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain testing documentation and defect reports.
- Perform release testing and production verification.
- Ensure software quality and functionality meet business requirements.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Manual Testing.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience in writing test cases and test scenarios.
- Strong knowledge of Functional & Regression Testing.
- Good bug reporting and tracking skills.
- Knowledge of Jira or similar bug-tracking tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/Database Testing is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of API Testing/Postman is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Software Testing/QA.
- Candidates with relevant internship or project experience may also be considered for junior roles.
