About the Role
CDAC PACE Centre, Shimla is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Counsellor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students, understanding their career and course requirements, and helping them choose suitable training programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and prospective learners about available courses and career opportunities.
- Handle enquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp and other channels.
- Explain course details, eligibility, fees, duration and career prospects.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain student enquiry and admission records.
- Build good relationships with students and parents.
- Achieve monthly admission and counselling targets.
- Coordinate with the academic and administrative team.
- Participate in promotional activities, seminars and student outreach programs.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good convincing and counselling abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Prior experience in education counselling, sales or admissions will be an advantage.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
