We are seeking enthusiastic, service-oriented professionals to join our Food & Beverage team as Guest Service Associates.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service
- Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure a memorable dining experience.
- Present menus, explain dishes, and recommend food and beverage pairings.
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages as per luxury hospitality standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally to ensure complete satisfaction.
Food & Beverage Operations
- Prepare tables before service and reset them after guest departure.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and presentation at all times.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and stewarding team for timely order delivery.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and serving temperatures.
- Promote menu specials and upsell food and beverage offerings.
Restaurant Standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI hygiene and food safety standards.
- Maintain impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
Billing & POS
- Generate guest bills using the POS system.
- Process payments accurately through cash, card, or digital modes.
- Resolve billing queries professionally.
Teamwork
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen, housekeeping, and front office teams.
- Support colleagues during busy service periods.
- Participate in departmental briefings and training sessions.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service and guest-handling abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and food & beverage service.
- Understanding of fine dining and luxury hospitality standards.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Well-groomed and professional personality.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Food & Beverage Service will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service.
- Candidates from Taj, Oberoi, Marriott, Hyatt, ITC, Hilton, Radisson, Novotel, Accor, IHCL, Lemon Tree, Fortune Hotels, or other luxury hotels and premium restaurants will be preferred.
