Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Purchase and Sales Coordinator who is willing to learn and grow in the plastics raw material industry. The selected candidate will coordinate purchase, import, sales, customer follow-up, supplier communication, documentation, and dispatch-related activities.
This role offers practical exposure to international suppliers and corporate customers, including Tier 1 companies in South India.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate purchase orders and follow up with international suppliers
- Support sales operations and client communication
- Communicate with suppliers from countries such as South Korea, Thailand, China, Singapore, Taiwan, Italy, and others
- Coordinate with customers and Tier 1 companies in South India
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, sales orders, shipments, dispatches, and documentation
- Support import, logistics, and delivery coordination
- Prepare and send professional emails to suppliers and customers
- Learn the end-to-end process of the plastics import and sales industry
Requirements
- Good communication skills in English
- Good computer knowledge and MS Office skills
- Good email writing and coordination skills
- Willingness to learn purchase, import, sales, and documentation functions
- Ability to coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- Candidates who can commute conveniently to Mugappair West, Chennai will be preferred
Preferred Qualification
Candidates with CIPET, B.Tech, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Technology, or related educational background will be given added advantage. However, freshers from other relevant backgrounds who are willing to learn are also welcome to apply.
