Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, your day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. You focus on developing comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. Your role includes defining and implementing key performance metrics to monitor testing activities, managing test execution, and overseeing defect resolution to ensure the overall quality objectives are met effectively and efficiently.

- Lead efforts to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of quality practices across the development lifecycle.
- Drive the adoption of best practices and innovative approaches to quality engineering.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Lambda .
- Must To Have Skills: Experience with AWS DynamoDB, AWS S3 (Simple Storage Service), AWS CloudFormation, API Gateway, Amazon RDS.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based serverless computing environments and their operational management.
- Experience in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks for cloud applications.
- Ability to analyze and optimize performance and scalability of serverless functions.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability and quick issue resolution.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
o AWS CloudFormation (CFT)
o AWS CDK
Proficiency in Python for backend development.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Knowledge of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and backend best practices.
Understanding of AWS security concepts (IAM roles, policies, VPC basics).
Working knowledge or willingness to learn Node.js and TypeScript.
Experience with serverless frameworks.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging using CloudWatch and X-Ray.
Exposure to DevOps practices and automation.
Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams.
AWS certifications (Associate or Professional) are a plus.
